Southbound Slip From Essex Yeomanry Way to Maldon Road, Chelmsford is closed for overnight roadworks from 03/08/2026 to 08/08/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs*

Due to the location of the road closure - the 31 / 331 / 332 / 333 / 336 will be placed on diversion:

31 / 331 / 332 / 333

The 31 / 331 / 332 / 333 will divert in both directions via Essex Yeomanry Way (A1114) and A12. 

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions: 

  • Manor Farm Shop
  • Molrams Lane
  • Brick Kiln Road
  • Sandon Park and Ride (31)

336

The 336 will divert in both directions via High Street, Church Street, Essex Yeomanry Way (A1114) and A12. 

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions: 

  • The Kings Head
  • Manor Farm Shop
  • Molrams Lane
  • Brick Kiln Road
  • Sandon Park and Ride (336)
