Eastwood Road, Rayleigh is closed for overnight roadworks (20:00 - 05:00) from 27/10/2025 - 08/11/2025.

The road will be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and will re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure - 25 and X30 services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Southend-on-Sea: Normal line of route - All bus stops served.

Towards Basildon: Service 25 will divert via Progress Road, A127 and High Road.

The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Progress Road
  • Eastwood Rise
  • Glenwood Avenue
  • Lancaster Road
  • Clarence Road South
  • The Chase
  • Trinity Road
  • Queens Road
  • Eastwood Road

X30

Towards Southend-on-Sea: Service X30 will divert via High Street and Websters Way. 

The following bus stops will not be served: Eastwood Road

Towards Stansted Airport: Service X30 will divert via Progress Road, A127 and High Road.

The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Eastwood Rise
  • Eastwood Road
