Rayleigh RunFest returns on Sunday 12th July 2026. 

Rayleigh High Street will be closed to traffic from 06:30hrs to 13:00hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 25 / 27 will be unable to serve Rayleigh town centre whilst the event is in progress:

The 25 will divert in both directions via London Road, Chelmsford Road, A127 and Progress Road.

*The 25 will serve Rayleigh Railway Station before / after diversion route*

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

The 27 will divert in both directions via the A127, A1245 and A129. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Great Wheatley Road
  • The Paul Pry
  • The Library
