London Road (A13), Benfleet is closed for roadworks from 25/07/2026 to 15/08/2026.
Due to the location of the road closure - the 21 / 21S / 22 / 28 will be impacted:
21
The 21 will divert in both directions via Rushbottom Road, Church Road and Kents Hill Road North.
The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
- Tarpots Corner (EASTBOUND)
- Southwold Crescent
- Waverley Road
- Kents Hill Road North (WESTBOUND)
21S
The 21S will operate to normal line of route but will likely be delayed due to heavy traffic in and around the area.

The 22 will divert in both directions via Canvey Way, Canvey Road and Ferry Road.
The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

- Elmhurst Avenue / The Spinnakers
- Limetree Avenue

The 28 will divert in both directions via Canvey Way, Canvey Road, Ferry Road, Essex Way and Benfleet Road.
