Rayleigh Christmas Lights returns on Thursday 27th November 2025. 

Rayleigh High Street will be closed between 13:00hrs and 21:00hrs for the duration of the event.

Due to the location of the road closure; the 20 and 25 services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Hullbridge: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.

Towards Southend-on-Sea: The 20 service will divert via Eastwood Road and Trinity Road. The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Rayleigh High Street
  • Bull Lane
  • Parklands Avenue
  • Jubilee Road

Towards Basildon: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.

Towards Southend-on-Sea: The 25 service will divert via Eastwood Road. The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Rayleigh High Street
  • Bull Lane
  • Websters Way
