Downham Road, Ramsden Heath is closed for daily roadworks (09:30 - 15:30) from 05/01/2026 to 30/01/2026 - Monday to Friday only.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 13A and 13B services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Wickford: The 13A and 13B services will turnaround at The White Horse bus stop and return back along Dowsetts Lane, Hawkswood Road and Crowsheath Lane before returning to normal line of route.

Towards Chelmsford: The 13A and 13B services will divert via Crowsheath Lane, Hawkswood Road and Dowsetts Lane. The service will turnaround at The White Horse bus stop before returning to normal line of route back along Dowsetts Lane.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Dovedale Close
  • Oak Road
  • Crowsheath Lane.
