We’re growing in Colchester!

First Bus has agreed to buy the Colchester bus operations of Arriva, subject to consent by regulators. 

It means that from Sunday 20 December First Bus will take over the running of Arriva’s routes in the city.

This will enable us to strengthen our network in Colchester. We’re looking forward to serving more communities and welcoming new customers on board. 

Our teams are busy preparing and as soon as we can we will provide customers with more information about the new-look Colchester network. For anyone that has an Arriva ticket or pass from Sunday 20 December it will continue to be valid until the date it expires.
