Fare Changes from Sunday 11 January 2026

From Sunday 11 January 2026, our Fares in Essex will change as we introduce a new, fairer distance-based structure for Single fares. We've worked hard to keep fares affordable, so travelling by bus continues to offer great value. 

Under the new structure, many customers will pay less depending on how far they travel. Adult Single fares will start from £2 and £2.50, rising to the maximum £3 national fare cap for longer journeys. There will also be a wider range of Single fares available for both adults and children, better reflecting journey distance.
