Essex Service Changes from 1 November 2026 (C1, 702 & New 703 Service)
From 1st November
From Sunday 1 November 2026, changes will be made to services C1 and 702, alongside the introduction of new service 703. These changes will improve train connections at Chelmsford Station and provide a new daytime link between Chelmer Valley Park & Ride and Broomfield Hospital.

A revised timetable will run on Sundays and Public Holidays. Some morning journeys will run a few minutes earlier to improve train connections at Chelmsford Station. An additional journey will depart New London Road at 08:45 and arrive at Broomfield Hospital at 09:09. Early evening journeys from Broomfield Hospital will also be improved, with buses operating every 30 minutes until 18:00 and additional departures at 18:55, 20:17 and 21:37. |

New service provided on behalf of Essex County Council. Service 703 will provide a connection between Chelmer Valley Park & Ride and Broomfield Hospital. Running Monday to Friday, buses will operate every 30 minutes, departing Chelmer Valley from 09:45 until 14:45 and Broomfield Hospital from 10:00 until 15:00. |
