Moorgate Road will be closed overnight 20.00-05.00 each night Monday 9th – Friday 13th

The following diversion will be in place:

Services will be unable to serve Rotherham Hospital.

Services will be diverted in both directions via-

Broom lane, Broom Road, Clifton Lane & Rotherham Interchange.

Service 8,8a,97

Due to police road closure on Halifax Road, service 8 and 8a will divert via Herries Road, Wordsworth Avenue & Ecclesfield

Service 97 will divert as 98 from Southey Green in both directions.

Due to closure of South Road,  95 outbound services will divert via Western Bank, Whitham Road,  Crookes Bole & Hill Road.

Inbound services will operate the normal route

97,98 services that start at Bolsover Street will divert Crooksmoor Road, Crookes Northfield Road & Heavygate Road.

Due to Dykes Hall Road being closed the services are diverting: 

Outbound to Loxley

Diverting via Middlewood Road, Wadsley Lane, and Far Lane. 

Inbound to the City:

Diverting via Far Lane, Wadsley Lane, Leppings Lane, Catchbar Lane, Parkside Road, and Middlewood Road.

Due to the closure of South Road, outbound services will divert via Western Bank, Whitham Road and Crookes Bole Hill Road.

Inbound services will operate via normal route.

X5 Maltby services

Cumwell Lane has been closed by announced roadworks.

 Services will divert from Brampton Road, Morthern Road, Tanyard Roundabout, Bawtry Road & King Henry PH X roads.

 This is in both directions until further notice.

Monday 2nd Feb 0930 - 1530

355 – Stripe Road, Clay Flat Lane, Stripe Road, Bond Street and to resume service on Radburn Road.

356 -  Radburn Road, Bond Street, Stripe Road, resuming normal service at the end of Clay Flat Lane.

Saturday 24th January 2026

The 22:50 journey from Doncaster will be unable to serve Station Road in Askern due to railway crossing maintenance. 

The service will operate directly along High Street towards Norton.

Due to the closure of Church Street in Armthorpe services will divert as follows :-

381 :- Mere Lane, Elm Road, Beech Road, Hawthorne Avenue in both directions and Hatfield Lane.

382 :- Hawthorne Avenue to the roundabout in the village then normal route around the village and back onto Hawthorne Avenue towards Doncaster.

12th Jan 2026 For At Least 9 Months

Attercliffe Road will be closing between Staniforth Road and Worksop Road for a period of at least 9 months.

The X3 will be re-registered TOWARD SHEFFIELD to operate via Attercliffe Common, Sheffield Hallam University, Newhall Road, Alfred Road, Brightside Lane, and re-join the route on Saville Street.
