Services 95, 95s, 97, 98 & 731 - Road works

South Road has been closed by unannounced road works.

Services will be diverted via Crookes Valley Road, Crookesmoor Road, Crookes, Northfield Road & Heavygate Road in both directions.

27th June 09:00 am -12:30 pm - Armed Forces Day Parade

Due to the parade, the following services will be diverted; 

Services 365, 366, 381, 382, 384 & 387

Outbound: Church Way, Market Road and East Laith Gate to resume on Thorne Road. 

Inbound: Thorne Road, East Laith Gate, Market Road, Church Way & Grey Friars Road

Services 355, 357 & 373

Outbound: Waterdale as normal, Chequer Road and Carr House Road to resume from Racecourse Roundabout.

Services 356, 357 and 372

Inbound: Carr House Road, Trafford Way and College Road.

Service 376

Outbound: Church Way, Markets Roundabout, Church Way & Athron Sreet to resume on Beckett Rd.

Outbound from Sheffield :

X3 services toward RBS are diverting via Ickles roundabout, Centenary Way, College Road roundabout & Bridge Street.

272 Service - Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June

Saturday 27th June (14:00-15:00)

Castleton Road & Station Road, Hope will be closed for the annual Hope Wakes event.

No scheduled services are affected, though late running will be monitored.

Sunday 28th June (19:00-20:15)

Castleton Road & Station Road, Hope will be closed for the annual Dressing of the Wells event.

As a result, the 272 service departing CBS at 18:45 will terminate at Bradwell (not serving Hope or Castleton).

The return journey at 20:00 will instead commence from Bradwell toward Bamford at 20:12.

120k Service - 0001 Saturday 27th until 2359 Sunday 28th June (at all times)

Owlthorpe Greenway will be closed for works.

Services diverted via Eckington Way, Holbrook Avenue, Owlthorpe Greenway, Eckington Road & Hartland Avenue in both directions.

24, 25, 52a, 95, 95s, 120, 120k, , X1, X2 & X6 Services - Tuesday 5th May until further notice (at all times) expected to be March 2027

CS3 & CS4 on Arundel Gate will be closed for SCC works.

All services will move to CS2 (first stop on Arundel Gate) during this period.

Arundel Gate Closure Services 20, 24, 25, 47, 48, 51, 75, 75a, 76, 76a, 81, 82, 76e, 97, 98, 785, 798, 798a, X1, X2 & X6 Every night until further notice (0000-0500)

Arundel Gate is being closed in both directions due to works.

All services will divert between Commercial Street / Haymarket & Furnival Square via Fitzalan Square, Flat Street, Pond Street, Paternoster Road, Brown Street and Furnival Street.

51 Service toward Charnock will not use this diversion but instead spin around at Furnival Square roundabout without serving Flat Street.

Work may be completed by 30th June 2026.

X2 Service -  6th April until 30th September (on five separate occasions)

Doncaster Road & High Street, Braithwell will be closed on five separate occasions for road works.

Services diverted via Grange Lane, Stainton Lane (through Stainton village), Raw Lane / Hirst Lane / Cockhill Lane & Edlington double roundabouts in both directions.

X2 Service - 6th of April until 30th of September 

Doncaster Road & High Street, Braithwell will be closed on five separate occasions for road works.

Services will divert via Grange Lane, Stainton Lane (through Stainton village), Raw Lane / Hirst Lane / Cockhill Lane & Edlington Double Roundabouts in both directions.

80 Service - 30th of March & 26th of July (0800-2000) any ten days

Cotterhill Lane, Brimington will be closed for road works.

OUTBOUND services diverted left after the petrol station directly onto manor Road.

INBOUND services are unaffected.

Manor Road, Brimington will be closed for road works. (0930-1500 & 1830-2000) any ten days

Services diverted via Duke Street, Staveley (Job Centre), the full length of Inkersall Road / Staveley Road, Chesterfield Road (straight on at the roundabouts) & Calow Hospital in both directions.

We are unable to serve Brimington or Calow village during this closure.
