Our revenue protection team regularly travel on our services to ensure everyone is travelling with a valid, correctly issued ticket. Tickets need to be collected from the driver and retained throughout the journey.

When travelling, please keep to hand:

  • A valid ticket for your journey
  • Your mobile phone, with mobile ticket available
  • A valid smartcard
  • Your concessionary pass
  • A validated credit/debit card (for tap on tap off journeys)
  • Any other valid travel document

Plus any ID associated with your ticket e.g. Zoom card, Student ID

If you're not able to produce a valid travel document our revenue protection team will issue a standard fare notice for £50.
