Make the most of Christmas in York
Whether you're visiting the Christmas Market, picking up gifts, meeting friends and family, or enjoying everything York has to offer this winter, York Park & Ride is a convenient way to travel into the city.
From Sunday 8 November to Sunday 20 December 2026, revised Christmas timetables will be introduced across the network, with increased frequencies on selected routes to support travel during one of the busiest times of the year.

Enjoy a free hot drink this festive season with York Park & Ride!
We're teaming up with local coffee supplier kWh Coffee, located at Askham Bar Park & Ride, to give you a little something extra this Christmas!
Simply park at Askham Bar, purchase your Park & Ride ticket using the First Bus App or from a member of staff on site, and head over to kWh Coffee to claim your free 8oz filter coffee or hot chocolate.
It's the perfect way to warm up before hopping on the bus and heading into York!

Terms and conditions
- Offer valid on 8oz filter coffee and 8oz hot chocolate only.
- Customers must present a valid Park & Ride ticket to claim a free drink.
- One free 8oz drink per person using the Park & Ride service.
- Offer available only at Askham Bar Park & Ride site.
- Offer available on selected dates only: 11 November, 18 November, 25 November, 2 December, 9 December and 16 December 2026.
- Offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the daily allocation has been claimed, the offer will end for that day.
