6, 8, 10L & U1 / Hull Road/ Field Lane / DIVERSION 16th of October 2025

Thu 16th – Tue 21st Oct: Hull Road/Field Lane roundabout closed 2000-0500. In addition to services continuing to divert through Osbaldwick.

The service 6 will operate via Tang Hall Lane, Hull Road, Greendyke, University Road, Field Lane & into Campus East.

Service 8 and Service 10L will divert Via Tang Hall Lane, Osbaldwick, Lane, Link Road, Hull Road into Site. These Services will pick up passengers for Osbaldwick.

Service U1 will terminate at Campus East. The last bus to serve York Sport Village will be at 19:45.

From Wednesday 1 October there will be changes to night time bus services as resurfacing work on Hull Road gathers pace.

Work is now taking place from the Tang Hall Lane traffic lights to Tranby Avenue and Field Lane roundabout, which will be closed between 8pm and 5am every weekday until 15 October.

As a result, buses will divert along Tang Hall Lane, Osbaldwick Lane, Murton Way and Osbaldwick Link Road between 8pm and 5am on weekdays.

Any routes following the diversion won’t be able to serve the stops at Windmill Lane, Archbishop Holgate’s School, Badger Hill Shops, Canham Grove or B&Q during the nighttime closure.
