York Park & Ride services return to their standard timetables from Sunday 13 September 2026.
Our temporary uplifted summer timetable comes to an end on Sunday 13 September 2026, with all six York Park & Ride services returning to their standard operating timetables.
This means services 2/2A, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 59 will return to the timetables that were in place before the summer service uplift began in July.
What's changing?
From Sunday 13 September 2026, all York Park & Ride services will return from their temporary summer timetables to their standard operating timetables.
This follows the summer frequency improvements introduced in July, which provided additional journeys and more frequent buses during the school summer holidays.
The change applies to all six Park & Ride services: 2/2A, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 59.
Service changes

Service 2/2A will return to its standard timetable, last operated before the summer service uplift in July.
Service 3 will return to its standard timetable, last operated before the summer service uplift in July.
Service 7 will return to its standard timetable, last operated before the summer service uplift in July.
Service 8 will return to its standard timetable, last operated before the summer service uplift in July.
Service 9 will return to its standard timetable, last operated before the summer service uplift in July.
Service 59 will return to its standard timetable, last operated before the summer service uplift in July.
