Service X2 | M18 Road Closure

387 / 387a Services to Stainforth are suspended due to repeated acts of vandalism.

Services operating via Broadway, Station Road to Hatfield, Epworth Road / Thorne Road / Hatfield Road and resuming normal route at Thorne Park in both directions.

Sandford Road will be closed outbound on the 1st and inbound on the 2nd of October for these services. Services will be using Hall Flat Lane/Cross Street/Tickhill Road during the closure.

This is still ongoing and updates will be provided.

Due to disruption on Beckett Road, 376 services are diverting via Wheatley Hall Road and Wentworth Road in both directions.

In place until 14th October.

97 & 98 Services - Until further notice (at all times)

Ellesmere Road has been closed for works.

Services will divert via Burngreave Road in both directions.

24, 75, 75a, 76, 76a & 76e Services

Due to works on Chesterfield Road, Woodseats are delaying our services up to 30 mins during peak periods.

Late running services will be regulated.

This is in place until the 18th of October 2025.

Bellhouse Road will be affected by the installation of a pole on the footpath between Firth Park roundabout & North Quadrant.

Tuesday 21st until Saturday 25th October

Services affected: 18, 18a, 47, 48, 75, 75a, 76, 76a & 76e

Diversions as follows: 

Between 04:30 - 00:30 each day: 
The outbound 47 & 48 bus stop will be suspended, and services are to instead serve the 18 / 75 / 76 stop.
 There will also be some carriageway incursion, though services will operate normal route.

Between 00:30 - 04:30 each night: 
This section of road will be closed.
 

OUTBOUND 18 & 18a services:
Diverted via Firth Park roundabout, Stubbin Lane & onto Barnsley Road.

OUTBOUND 47 & 48 services:
Diverted via Firth Park roundabout, Stubbin Lane, Barnsley Road, Hatfield House Lane & Sicey Avenue.

OUTBOUND 75 & 75a services:
Diverted via Firth Park roundabout, Stubbin Lane, Barnsley Road, Hatfield House Lane & Bellhouse Road.

OUTBOUND 76, 76a & 76e services:
Diverted via Firth Park roundabout, Stubbin Lane, Barnsley Road, Hatfield House Lane, Bellhouse Road & Primrose Avenue.

Bellhouse Road has been closed.

Services diverted via Sicey Avenue (& North Quadrant) in both directions.

76, 76a & 76e services are unaffected.

272 & 772 Services - Monday 22nd September until Friday 17th October (at all times)

Main Road & surrounding roads in Hathersage will be closed for four weeks due to electrical works.

272 services diverted via Hunters Bar roundabout, Brocco Bank / Clarkson Road, Newbould Lane, Glossop Road, Fulwood Road, Manchester Road (A57), Ladybower Reservoir bridge, Ashopton Road / Station Road A6013 and Bamford turning circle in both directions.

772 services will operate Bamford turning circle / Hope Valley College only.

Please note that no stops will be served between Hunters Bar roundabout & the Ladybower Inn due to the extent of this diversion.
