As Industrial Action is paused, services are currently running as usual.

Due to short-notice changes, the real-time information on the app and at bus stops may not be accurate during Industrial Action. We would recommend using this page to find information on your bus and what services are running each day, as this will be regularly updated.

No, pre-purchased First Bus tickets will not be accepted by other operators.

For on-the-day tickets, we will not be issuing refunds so please check if your service is running before you purchase a ticket. 

For multi-day tickets, we can offer a pro-rota credit in the first instance. If you would prefer a refund, a request form will be made available on this page once an agreement has been reached the industrial action has ended. 

We will not be processing refunds over the phone. 

At this time, we cannot say exactly when the industrial action will end, but we are working with the Unite Union to reach an agreement and prevent any prolonged disruption to our customers’ journeys.  

Yes, concessionary passes will still be accepted, usual rules apply: 

  • Concessionary passes entitle you to free travel on our buses after 9:30am Monday - Friday and all day weekends and Bank Holidays. 

  • Before 9:30am Monday - Friday the full adult fare is payable.
