Potteries Roadworks Update W/C 13/07/2025
Services 25, 501, 9 – Still on Diversion. Outbound via Stoke Road and Station Road and inbound via Leek Road and Lichfield Street.
Services 21, 23, 40A – Still on diversion outbound are currently using Stoke Road to the bottom under the railway bridge then Copland Street into Stoke.
Services 7, 7A, 8, 9 – Phase 2 of the Stoke Mains renewal programme started on Monday 2nd June. Hanley Road will be closed Sneyd Street to Holden Lane Bridge for approx. 4 weeks. Buses will be diverting outbound via Milton Road, Mornington Road, Leek Road, Hanley Road. Inbound normal route.
Services 38, 39(a) ,103 – Liverpool Road will be closed 13th,14th,15th July. These are subject to change depending on the weather.
Service 101 – Newcastle Road in Stone has been closed today and will remain closed until Saturday 19th July. The buses are diverting via the A34 in both directions. There is no service on Newcastle Road.
Service 101 – London Road in Newcastle will be closed on Tuesday 15th July between the hours of 20:00 – 06:00. During the closure buses will divert via The Hospital and Hilton Road (service 22 route).
Service 101 – There is possible road closure on Tenterbanks in Stafford starting 10th July. This will prevent us from serving the train station.
Newcastle Road from Fillybrooks Petrol Station into Stone Town centre is closed for resurfacing 8am - 8pm.
Services to divert via A34, doing a loop of the town centre in both directions.
Newcastle Road won't be served.

Lawton Road in Alsager will be closed 7th, 8th, and 9th July between the hours of 09:00 – 15:00.
Buses to divert via Sandbach Road, Sandbach Road North in both directions.
