Service 101 - A34 Stone Road, Tittensor

There has been an emergency closure of the A34 Stone Road, Tittensor. It looks like the road closure will be there until Tuesday, 4th August. The diversion:

Outbound:

The services are diverting via Trentham Gardens, Longton Road, Barlaston Old Road (BOD on corner), Meaford Road, the A34 and then normal route.

Inbound:

The services are diverting via the A34, The crossroads, Longton Road, The A34, then normal route.

There will be no service from Trentham Gardens roundabout to The Fillybrooks roundabout in Stone

Road Closure

Brampton Road, Newcastle

Friday 24th July to Tuesday 28th July.

Services 98 & 99 to divert via Sandy Lane, Etruria Road, Basford Park Road.

Works now impacting the wider area around King Street.

This is now affecting services 11, 11X and 101 also.

King Street, Newcastle has been closed for roadworks.

Works are confirmed to be in place today [24/07/2026] and Monday [27/07/2026].
 

Buses are diverting as follows:

38/38A:
Normal route along Etruria Road, at the crossroads (ones with camera on traffic lights) turn left onto Albert Street, at the end of the road turn left, at the roundabout go all the way around and back along George Street, then into Newcastle like an 11.

39/39A:
Out of Newcastle as normal, take the 11 route turning right onto Borough Road (Borough Arms on left) bear left onto Brunswick Street, turn left onto Albert Street (Newcastle Dental implants on corner) at the end of the road turn right, then normal route.
