Diversions:

  • Services 25,501,9 – Still on Diversion. Outbound via Stoke Road and Station Road, and inbound via Leek Road and Lichfield Street.

 

  • Services 21, 23, 40A – Still on diversion, outbound are currently using Stoke Road to the bottom under the railway bridge, then Copland Street into Stoke.
  • Services 7,7A,8,9 – Phase 2 of the Stoke Mains renewal programme started on Monday 2nd June. Hanley Road will be closed from Sneyd Street to Holden Lane Bridge for approximately 4 weeks. Buses will be diverting outbound via Waterloo Road, Leek Road.
  • Service 18 – We are currently diverting away from Berwick Road in Snyed Green due to a road closure. I am unsure how long this will be closed. Buses are diverting via Milton Road, Mornington Road and Leek New Road in both directions. We will be unable to serve the bottom end of Milton Road or Berwick Road.
  • Services 99,9 – Oxford Road in Chell was closed from Friday, 6th June until Thursday, 12th June. Then Sprinkbank Road will be closed  
  • Service 7A – Wharf Road will be closed for a Carnival on Saturday 7th June 09:00 until 17:00. Buses will divert via Princess Street, Tunstall Street.
  • Service 103 – There is a street carnival on Crewe Road in Alsager on Saturday 7th June between the hours of 11:00 and 14:00. During this time, buses will divert via Sandbach Road, Pikemere Road and Hassell Road outbound and vice versa inbound.
  • Service 101 – There is a Carnival Parade in Stone on Saturday, 7th June. Stone town centre will be closed from 10:30 until 12:30. As this is a rolling closure, I have been assured that it should only affect 2 buses: 101/43 – 10:41 off Hanley and 101/42 – 11:37 off Stafford. These buses will divert via the A34 and miss out on Stone Town centre.
  • Service 2 –Both sides of Birches head are still closed and should reopen on Friday, 4th July. The buses are coming back to Hanley route way but in reverse. Outbound trips not affected.
