Background:

Our Shepherd’s Bush garage took a momentous step towards zero-emissions in February 2020 with the introduction of West London’s first 24-hour, double deck electric bus route: Route 94 (Acton Green to Piccadilly Circus). The electric buses on Route 94 joined the 36 single-deck vehicles we introduced in 2018 when we converted two other routes to electric operation: the C1 (Victoria to White City) and the 70 (South Kensington to Chiswick). Our electric buses are making a positive contribution towards the mayor’s goal of running a 100 per cent zero-emissions fleet in the capital by 2034.

Josephine Boyce began her career in the transport industry in 2014 as a Garage Support Assistant at Edgware Garage. Through dedication and strong leadership, Josephine progressed to the role of Traffic Manager, working across Park Royal and Hounslow, where Josephine gained extensive operational experience.

In 2023, Josephine became Operations Manager at Shepherd’s Bush Garage and has since stepped into the role of Interim General Manager, continuing to drive performance and team development.

Josephine is passionate about delivering safe, reliable services for passengers while building strong, collaborative teams. A firm believer in creating a welcoming and engaging workplace, Josephine focuses on fostering a positive environment that supports a healthy work-life balance and strengthens the sense of community across the garage.
