We're proud to welcome Powerhouse West SILC students to our Bramley depot, helping to create inclusive communities and support young people in developing vital life skills.

The Powerhouse programme is all about independence, confidence and employability, ensuring students gain real-life skills that prepare them for the future. As part of their visit, they took part in role-playing travel scenarios, learned how to ask a driver for support and even got a behind-the-scenes look at our depot and engineering team to understand the engineering and the noises some of the buses make.

For many of these students, independent travel will soon be an important part of daily life, so building confidence on buses now will make a huge difference as they move forward into education, employment and beyond.

It was a fantastic day and we’re proud to support Powerhouse WEST SILC in giving students the tools they need to travel independently and stay connected to education, work and their communities. We look forward to working with them on future projects and initiatives.
