Current Issues

Sandford Road will be closed outbound on the 1st and inbound on the 2nd of October for these services. Services will be using Hall Flat Lane/Cross Street/Tickhill Road during the closure.

This is still ongoing and updates will be provided.

Due to disruption on Beckett Road, 376 services are diverting via Wheatley Hall Road and Wentworth Road in both directions.

387/387A/384A/385

387 / 387a Services to Stainforth are currently suspended due to repeated acts of vandalism.

Services will operate the normal route to end of Broadway then via Station Road to Hatfield then Epworth Road / Thorne Road / Hatfield Road resuming normal route at Thorne Park in both directions.

Service 18,18A,97,98 Longley Lane

Longley Lane has been closed for works.

Services will divert via Herries Driver in both directions.

Service 47,48 Owler Lane till Further Notice

Owler Lane has been closed for roadworks.

Services will divert via Barnsley Road and Hucklow Road in both directions.

97 & 98 Services - Until further notice (at all times)

Ellesmere Road has been closed for works.

Services will divert via Burngreave Road in both directions.

24, 75, 75a, 76, 76a & 76e Services

Due to works on Chesterfield Road, Woodseats are delaying our services up to 30 mins during peak periods.

Late running services will be regulated.

This is in place until the 18th of October 2025.

731 & 780 Services - Until further notice

Langsett Avenue has been closed by unannounced Northern Powergrid works.

Services diverted via Worrall Road, Oughtbridge, Middlewood to pick up the at opposite end of Langsett Avenue.

Service 731 will divert via Marlcliffe Road, Wadsley Lane, Leppings Lane and Parkside towards Hillsborough Interchange.

376 Services 3 Sundays , September 21st - 12th October 08:00-11:59PM

Roadworks on Barnby Dun Road

Buses are unable to serve the terminus on Jefferson Road.

Diverted along Wheatley Road onto Thorne Road turning round at Sainsbury roundabout back to Wheatley Road, resuming normal route on Barnby Dun road opposite the Park.

384a services will divert to Barnby Dun then via Armthorpe Lane / A18 High Street / Broadway resuming normal route at the end of Broadway in both directions during this time.

Bellhouse Road will be affected by the installation of a pole on the footpath between Firth Park roundabout & North Quadrant.

Tuesday 21st until Saturday 25th October

Services affected: 18, 18a, 47, 48, 75, 75a, 76, 76a & 76e

Diversions as follows: 

Between 04:30 - 00:30 each day: 
The outbound 47 & 48 bus stop will be suspended, and services are to instead serve the 18 / 75 / 76 stop.
 There will also be some carriageway incursion, though services will operate normal route.

Between 00:30 - 04:30 each night: 
This section of road will be closed.
 

OUTBOUND 18 & 18a services:
Diverted via Firth Park roundabout, Stubbin Lane & onto Barnsley Road.

OUTBOUND 47 & 48 services:
Diverted via Firth Park roundabout, Stubbin Lane, Barnsley Road, Hatfield House Lane & Sicey Avenue.

OUTBOUND 75 & 75a services:
Diverted via Firth Park roundabout, Stubbin Lane, Barnsley Road, Hatfield House Lane & Bellhouse Road.

OUTBOUND 76, 76a & 76e services:
Diverted via Firth Park roundabout, Stubbin Lane, Barnsley Road, Hatfield House Lane, Bellhouse Road & Primrose Avenue.

Bellhouse Road has been closed.

Services diverted via Sicey Avenue (& North Quadrant) in both directions.

76, 76a & 76e services are unaffected.
