Travel Alerts
Service 28A | Dene Road, Cotford St Luke
Emergency Wessex Water works on Dene Road, Cotford St Luke
Service 28A will divert between Aveline Court, Cotford St Luke and Hither Mead, Bishops Lydeard back through Norton Fitzwarren and Pen Elm Hill.
Both Norton Fitzwarren and Cotford St Luke will be served.
We will be unable to serve any stops on Dene Road, customers are advised to use Aveline Court stop.
Road closure expected until Friday 20th February.
Service 21/21A | Bathpool
Bathpool A38 is closed for resurfacing works between the hours of 18:30 and 23:30, Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 Febrauary.
Service 21/21A buses will divert between Oxford Inn and Monkton Elm.
We will be unable to serve any stops from/in Bathpool, The Forge/Bus Gate and West Monkton Primary School.
Passengers for Monkton Heathfield are advised to use stops the 21A uses.
Corporation Street / Castle Way CLOSED
Corporation Street and Castle Way is closed for resurfacing works between the hours of 18:30 to 23:30, Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 February.
Services will not depart from Castle Way during the road closure hours.
All buses are diverted below:
1E towards Hospital:
Start from Stand H, The Parade, via Tangier Way to resume normal route County Hall
1E towards Ladymead Road:
Divert via Tangier Way to resume normal route at Stand H, The Parade
21 towards Burnham:
Start service at Stand I, The Parade
21 towards Taunton:
Terminates at The Parade
22/22A towards Wellington:
Starts from Stand H, The Parade, via Tangier Way to resume normal route County Hall
22/22A towards Taunton:
Divert via Tangier Way to terminate at The Parade
28/28A towards Minehead:

Service Disruptions - 16/02/2026
Services are facing impacts due to operational issues
21/21A Services
14:00 - Taunton to Dunball | Cancelled
Due to an accident at West Huntspill, service 21/21A faced delays through to 17:00. Route now open, but the following service was unable to operate
17:10 - Burnham to Taunton
18:25 UPDATE
Due to temporary traffic lights at Compass Inn, service 21/21A are experiencing delays of 25-30 minutes.
22/22A Services
Due to an accident at Silk Mills Road/Wellington Road roundabout, services are delayed by 30 minutes.
Traffic is starting to ease as the accident is cleared, however, the following services will be unable to operate as a result:

18:55 | 22 | Wellington to Taunton

On the 16th of February to the 20th of February 2026
Due to a closure in Bridgwater, the following will be in place:
The 14 service will not service West Street and part of Durleigh Road to Haygrove School.
DIVERSION
West Street, Durleigh Road, Haygrove School, A39 Wembdon Road, Quantock Road, Danesboro Road, Alfoxton Road
, Queenswood Road, Durleigh Road following normal route to Mayfield Drive in both directions.
No bus stops will be served between West Street & Haygrove School
