Changes to Service 28 from 4 January 2026

Somerset Council has been funding a duplicate Service 28 journey from Minehead to Richard Huish College during term time to help with overcrowding. As this was a temporary arrangement, we are making the following changes:

  • 06:25 from Minehead – Taunton, Castle Way will be College Holidays only
  • College days: new 06:44 from Minehead via Seaward Way → A39, then direct Washford → Williton (Gliddons), then normal route to Castle Way and Richard Huish College
  • 06:50 from Minehead – normal route via Norton Manor Camp, Silk Mills Road, Somerset College, Castle Way and Richard Huish College
