Eureka the National Children’s Museum
For a day packed full of fun that the whole family can enjoy, visit Eureka the National Children’s Museum in Halifax. Explore the interactive and unique zones designed for children aged 0 - 11 years old, that will fill their young minds with an excitement and passion to learn about the world around them. A dedicated team of staff, called Enablers, are on hand to help you make the most of your experience. All you have to do is pay once which will give you access to Eureka for free over the next 12 months. Under 1 is free, ages 1 - 2 costs £6.45, ages 3 + costs £14.95 and ages 15 and older also costs £14.95. Eureka is the perfect place for children to play and explore during holidays, weekends and afternoons!
Shibden Hall
If the weather stays nice and sunny, spend your day In Halifax wandering around the historic Shibden Hall. Surrounding the hall are the restored gardens and stunning estate that makes up Shibden Park, a beautiful location to enjoy a Springs day. Journey through fascinating lives of those who once lived and worked there, then explore the beautiful gardens as well as the variety of other attractions on offer. From their boating lake and miniature railway, to their walking trails and play area, there are plenty of things to do on a fun day out.
