Hollow Gate, Burncross has been closed by unannounced  works.

Services will divert via Foster Way, Greengate Lane (to the shops), Worrall Road / School Road, Blackburn Drive, Burncross Road & Bracken Hill in both directions.

Works will complete by 27th November.

Multiple Services - Monday 24th November until further notice (at all times)

Fitzwilliam Gate, Cumberland Street & South Lane will be closed for approximately one week for remedy of the recent burst water main.

OUTBOUND 20, 56, 75, 75a, 76, 76a, 76e, 97, 98, 798 & 798a services will divert via Moore Street, Young Street (serving the temporary stop) then South Lane.

INBOUND 20, 56, 75, 75a, 76, 76a, 76e, 97, 98, 798 & 798a services will divert via London Road, St Marys Gate, Moore Street Roundabout, St Marys Gate, Bramall Lane Roundabout & Eyre Street.

OUTBOUND 18, 18a, 24, 47, 48 & 51 services will divert via Furnival Square Roundabout, Eyre Street (serving the Fire Station stop) & Bramall Lane roundabout.

INBOUND 81, 82, 272, 779 & 785 services diverted via Moore Street Roundabout, St Marys Gate, Bramall Lane Roundabout & Eyre Street.

X1, X2 & x6 services will divert via Furnival Square Roundabout, Eyre Street (serving the Fire Station stop),  Bramall Lane Roundabout then Eyre Street.

86 Service - Tuesday 25th November (2000-0500) for one night

Bevan Way, Chapeltown will be closed at the junction of Burncross Road for works.

Services diverted via Burncross Road, Chapel Road, Ash View & Bevan Way in both directions.

Rotherham United FC vs Wycombe – Saturday 29th November  (1400-1745)

(from 1hr before kick-off until 1hr after the final whistle)

When Main Street closes:

73, 95 & X3 services FROM Rotherham Interchange will re-divert via Bridge Street, Centenary Way & Ickles roundabout.

73 & 95 services will then divert via Sheffield Road, Old Sheffield Road & Canklow Road.

Sheffield Wednesday FC vs Sheffield United FC - Sunday 23rd November (1000-1545)

STEEL CITY DERBY DIVERSION TIMES EXTENDED TO 2HRS EITHER SIDE OF THE MATCH.

When Leppings Lane closes:

18, 18a, 97 & 98 services TOWARDS Hillsborough Interchange will divert along Penistone Road, Bradfield Road to Hillsborough Corner.

Services FROM Hillsborough Interchange will operate via Langsett Road, Bamforth Street & Penistone Road.

Additionally, due to likely disruption on Donovan Road:

The 98 service will divert via Southey Green Road & Wordsworth Avenue.

Sheffield United FC vs Portsmouth – Saturday 26th November (1745-2330)

(from 2hrs before kick-off until 2hrs after the final whistle)

Bramall Lane will close for a substantial period. Shoreham Street will also close sporadically between Alderson Road & Charlotte Road roundabout.

18, 18a, 73 & MAN4 services will divert via Queens Road, Charlotte Road, Shoreham Street & St Marys in both directions during this time. 

Burngreave Road will be closed for SCC works.

Wednesday 19th until Tuesday 25th November (19:00 - 05:00) for seven nights

20, 47, 48, 76, 76a & 76e Services

Diversions as follows: 

OUTBOUND 20 Service:
Diverted via Angel Street, Castle Street, Waingate, Ladys Bridge, Nursery Street, Bridgehouses & Pitsmoor Road.

OUTBOUND 47, 48, 76, 76a & 76e Services:
Diverted via Ladys Bridge, Nursery Street, Bridgehouses & Pitsmoor Road.

ALL INBOUND Services:
Diverted via Pitsmoor Road, Bridgehouses, Nursery Street & Ladys Bridge.

 Due to the closure of Bentley Road, services will divert via Arksey Lane / The Avenue & Victoria Road in both directions.

18, 18a Services - Until further notice (at all times) 

Derbyshire Lane (upper section) has been closed between Warminster Road & Scarsdale Road for works.

18 & 18a FULL SERVICE will divert via Warminster Road in both directions.

18,18a SHORT SERVICE Unaffected.

Works should have completed by 13th January 2026.

A burst water main on to junction of Gleadless Common & Hollinsend Road has the potential to close the carriageway.

OUTBOUND services are diverting via Eastbank Road, through Manor Top Interchange, Hurlfield Road, Ridgeway Road & Gleadless Townend.

INBOUND services are diverting via Gleadless Townend, Ridgeway Road & Eastbank Road.
