Dawsons Corner/Bradford Road overnight closures: Wednesday 26th to Saturday 29th August overnight closure 20:00-05:00.

To Leeds via Stanningley Bypass and Richardshaw Lane. 

To Bradford via Richardshaw Lane and Stanningley Bypass. 

Shadwell Main Street road closure

Shadwell Main Street will be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 (Each day) - 25th to 27th August.

The following diversions will be in place; 

Towards Shadwell: Normal route to Shadwell Lane junction, Ring Road onto Birchwood Hill, terminating on Birchwood Hill.

Towards Leeds: Birchwood Hill onto Shadwell Lane to normal route.

Dawsons Corner improvement works. Upcoming summer programme for Stanningley bypass. Below are the nights the bypass will be fully closed. Summer contraflow on the bypass 2026:

• Monday 27th July – Install contraflow ~ IN PROGRESS
• Tuesday 28th July – Install contraflow ~ IN PROGRESS
• Monday 10th Aug – Switch contraflow ~ UPCOMING
• Friday 21st Aug– Remove contraflow
• Monday 24th Aug – Bypass closure clockwise for surfacing
• Tuesday 25th Aug – Bypass closure Anti-clockwise for surfacing

CURRENT IMPACTS:

New Pudsey Station

Stop number 45023447 is fully suspended - This includes the previous temporary stop as well 

Service X6 will observe stop number 45013512 on Bradford Road approaching Dawsons Corner in an attempt to accommodate displaced customers

Temporary stopping measure is likely to be required for upto 8 weeks from 27th July 2026.
