From Sunday 25 October 2026, we'll be making timetable changes to a number of services across Leeds and Bradford.
These changes include timetable adjustments, revised matchday diversions and additional journeys for Leeds Light Night. Please check your service below before you travel.
How To Travel on Your Service
A quick guide to the changes taking place across Leeds and Bradford from Sunday 25 October 2026.
Leeds:

Journey times will be redistributed on outbound journeys to help improve punctuality and reliability and reduce waiting at the Morris Lane, Kirkstall timing point. Frequency and overall end-to-end journey times remain unchanged. |

47 & 47A Leeds |
The first two weekday morning journeys towards White Rose Shopping Centre will operate 16 and 23 minutes earlier respectively. All other journeys remain unchanged. |

51 & 52 Elland Road |
On matchdays, services will divert for 90 minutes before the match starts, instead of 60 minutes. Services will continue to divert for 60 minutes after the match ends. |

55 & 55C Cottingley |
On matchdays, services will divert for 90 minutes before the match starts. An alternative diversion route will also operate to avoid congestion in Holbeck and improve punctuality and reliability. |

PR1 & PR3 Leeds Park & Ride |
Additional journeys will operate for Leeds Light Night on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October. The last journeys will depart at 23:04 on PR1 and 23:23 on PR3 on both evenings. |
Bradford:

On evening journeys towards Bradford, Leeds Headrow will only be used as a timing point when Leeds Bus Station is closed. Journey times remain unchanged. |
Leeds Service Changes
From Sunday 25 October 2026
We're introducing a revised timetable on services 50 and 50A.
There will be no change to the frequency or overall end-to-end journey times.
On outbound journeys, running time will be redistributed along the route to improve punctuality and reliability and help reduce the amount of time journeys wait at the Morris Lane, Kirkstall timing point.
This change follows feedback from local councillors regarding prolonged waiting times at the timing point, which can contribute to existing traffic congestion in the area.
From Sunday 25 October 2026
The first two weekday morning journeys towards White Rose Shopping Centre will operate earlier.
The first journey will operate 16 minutes earlier, while the second will operate 23 minutes earlier, following a request from West Yorkshire Combined Authority to better align services with customer demand.
All other journeys will remain unchanged.
From Sunday 25 October 2026
On matchdays at Elland Road Stadium, services 51 and 52 will now divert for 90 minutes before the match starts. This is increasing from the current 60-minute diversion period due to increased traffic congestion in the area.
Services will continue to divert for 60 minutes after the match ends.
Journeys will operate their normal route while the match is in progress.
From Sunday 25 October 2026
On matchdays at Elland Road Stadium, services 55 and 55C will now divert for 90 minutes before the match starts. This is increasing from the current 60-minute diversion period due to increased traffic congestion in the area.
Services will continue to divert for 60 minutes after the match ends, while journeys will operate their normal route during the match.
Additionally, to improve punctuality and reliability for customers travelling to and from Cottingley, journeys will use an alternative diversion route to avoid traffic congestion in Holbeck.
Towards Cottingley:
Between Park Row and A6110 Ring Rd Beeston, journeys will divert via Boar Lane, Mill Hill, Great Wilson Street, Meadow Lane, Dewsbury Road, M621 and A6110 Ring Rd Beeston.
Towards Leeds:
Between A6110 Ring Rd Beeston and The Headrow, journeys will divert via M621 Meadow Road, Victoria Road, Neville Street, Bishopgate Street, City Square, Infirmary Street, East Parade and The Headrow.
Customers travelling to Holbeck will need to use services 74, 75 and 86 when diversions are in operation.
Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October 2026
Additional journeys will operate on services PR1 and PR3 to complement the usual timetable for Leeds Light Night.
On both evenings, the last journeys will depart at:
- PR1: 23:04
- PR3: 23:23
Bradford Service Changes
From Sunday 25 October 2026
On journeys towards Bradford, Leeds Headrow will only be designated as a timing point on evening journeys when Leeds Bus Station is closed.
This change responds to feedback that the Leeds Headrow stop is not practical for waiting time during the day.
Journey times remain unchanged.
