Horse Fair Green - 387, 387A, 384A

Horse Fair Green will be closed, we will be unable to serve Thorne Marketplace during the closure.
Services are diverting via A614, services that serve South Common on the outbound journey will divert via Ellison Street, Texaco Garage.
All other services are to follow the road round to the exit from the Marketplace to resume the normal route.
The 384a service will have to use South Common to turn around.
Field Road, Thorne - 387, 481

Due to water pipe renewal work Field Road in Thorne will be closed.
OUTBOUND :- Normal route to Thorne Market, diverting via 387a route around the South Common, King Edward Road, to normal route.

September service changes
From 1 September, we will be introducing several service changes across South Yorkshire - increasing reliability and connecting more areas across the region.
Following on from our customer consultation period, we have made amendments to our initial proposed changes, as you as passengers are at the heart of everything we do at First Bus, and we want to keep providing a service you can rely on throughout South Yorkshire.

Sheffield changes:

Service 11 will no longer operate. Herdings will now be served by 47/48. All journeys on services 47/48 will operate via East Bank Rd. Heeley Green will be served by services 18 and 252 (TM Travel service) - providing a co-ordinated 15-minute service. Service 18 will be increased in frequency to operate every 30 mins between City, Heeley Green and Norton Lees. Between Meadowhall and Firth Park Margate Drive will no longer be served. Service 18a will continue to serve Margate Drive and a revised timetable will be introduced to provide a combined hourly service between City and Heeley Green, during the evenings and all-day Sunday. |

These new services will operate from Shiregreen, serving Gregg House Rd, Hartley Brook Rd and Sicey Ave - via Firth Park, Firth Park Rd, Firvale, Burngreave, City Centre East Bank Rd, Newfield Green, Hemsworth and Herdings. From Newfield Green service 47 will operate via Gleadless Rd, Leighton Rd, Raeburn Rd, Constable Rd, and Blackstock Rd. Service 48 will operate in the opposite direction via Blackstock Rd, Constable Rd, Raeburn Rd, Leighton Rd, Gleadless Rd. The combined frequency will be every 10 minutes during the daytime. *ROUTE NOW BACK TO NORMAL!
From 17 June until 13 September the road to Brough will be closed to enable repairs to a wall, this means our service 272 will not be able to serve Bradwell during the closure. An alternative timetable will be in operation during this period.
Our 772 service to Hope Valley College will also be affected during this time period, and will operate via Tideswell crossroads, following a revised timetable.

South Yorkshire changes from 7th April
We will be making some timetable changes and renumbering some of our services across South Yorkshire to improve punctuality, bringing more links and buses for the community. All Doncaster buses will start with the number 3 to differentiate our cross services and simplify them.

Sheffield/Rotherham changes

A teatime journey will extend to serve Epworth providing an evening journey to Westwood side, Haxey and Epwroth under contract to North Lincs Council. This will return in service to give an evening bus into Doncaster that arrives just after 8pm. |

A new timetable will be introduced with an increased frequency of every 12 minutes on Saturday to meet demand. To reflect falling passenger numbers on Sunday the frequency will be every 20 minutes. |

Following customer feedback we are introducing a revised network of services that will serve more communities in the North East Doncaster area. During the day journeys will be extended from Barnby Dun to Stainforth and Hatfield/Westfield Green. A new timetable will be introduced with an increased frequency of every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday during the day. Service 384A will operate in the evenings and on Sundays. A revised timetable will be introduced to co-ordinate with service 387. |

During the late afternoon buses will extend through to Moorends providing more links and better coordination. A new timetable will be introduced with buses running every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday during the day on service 387. Service 387A will operate in the evenings and on Sundays and coordinate with service 384A. |
