Services 47, 48, 51 East Bank Road

Due to the closure of East Bank Road between Kenninghall Road and East Road, services are to divert as follows:

Services 47 & 48 will divert via Kenninghall Road, Park Grange Road, East Bank Road, Olive Grove Road, and Heeley Bank Road in both directions.

Service 51 to divert via Arbourthorne Road, Park Grange Road, East Bank Road, Olive Grove Road and Heeley Bank Road in both directions.

Trams to use East Bank Road, Kenninghall Road, Park Grange Road, East Bank Road and Olive Grove Road when running out of service.

Service 80 Spinkhill Turning Circle

Services are unable to use the turning Circle due to roadworks. 

18, 18a, 97 & 98 Services - Until further notice (at all times)

Longley Hall Road has been closed due to unannounced roadworks and badly parked cars.

Services to divert via Longley Lane in both directions.

18, 18a, 20, 24, 25, 47, 48, 51, 56, 73, 75, 76, 76a, 76e, 81, 82, 97, 98, 272. 798, 798a, X1, X2 & X6 Services- Until further notice (at all times) expected to be until September 2027

Charter Row & Moore Street bus lanes have been closed by unannounced SCC works creating further congestion in the area & even more delays.

Most services remain on normal route except:

X1, X2 Services - Until further notice (at all times)

INBOUND services diverted directly along Eyre Street (serving both bus stops) to St Marys roundabout before turning around back to Eyre Street.

24, 25, 52a, 95, 95s, 120, 120k, , X1, X2 & X6 Services - Tuesday 5th May until further notice (at all times) expected to be March 2027

CS3 & CS4 on Arundel Gate will be closed for SCC works.

All services will move to CS2 (first stop on Arundel Gate) during this period.

Treeton Lane river bridge at Catcliffe has been inspected and found to be a weak bridge (18T limit). While this does not, on the surface, affect our services, the weight limit may be exceeded if two large vehicles pass on the bridge.

RBMC have now erected warning signs in the area.

ONLY SINGLE-DECKER VEHICLES ARE TO BE ALLOCATED TO THESE ROUTES. 

SERVICES FROM CATCLIFFE (PLOUGH ROUNDABOUT) ARE INSTRUCTED TO PROCEED AT SLOW SPEED UNTIL THE BRIDGE IS VISUALLY CLEAR OF LARGE VEHICLES COMING FROM TREETON.

Unannounced Yorkshire Water works on Wales Road are delaying our services up to 30 mins during peak periods.

Services remain on normal route but are being adjusted as required (until Kiveton Bridge is closed).

Due to access issues turning from Trafford Way into West Street, services are to operate via Trafford Way, Cleveland Street, St Sepulchre Gate West, resuming the route when turning onto St Jame’s Bridge.
