Effective29/10/2023 - 31/12/2024
Reductions in government funding for buses mean we’ve had to make changes to our services in south and west Wales. These changes came into operation on Sunday, 29th October 2023.
Most services haven't been impacted, but we’ve had to reduce bus frequencies and hours of operation on some routes, and we’ve had to withdraw some others. This webpage contains full information on what's changed.
If a service is not listed, it did not change 29th October. But if you would like to confirm that a service has not been impacted by these changes, you can view a list of unaffected services by area below.
Revised timetable: Service 349 will operate every 90 minutes instead of every 60 minutes from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Service X49 will depart Haverfordwest Bus Station 10 minutes earlier at 07:10 instead of 07:20 from 29th October 2023.

The following Pembrokeshire services will remain unchanged and operate to their current timetables: 302, 356.
Revised timetable: Service L1 will operate 4 times a day from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Little-used morning and evening journeys on the L3 service will be removed from 29th October 2023.

Service withdrawn: Service 110 will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.
From 29th October 2023, customers in the Borough Road area are advised to catch the revised service X11 from Loughor Monument or Loughor Crossroads.
Revised timetable: The service 111 will operate every 30 minutes instead of every 40 minutes from 29th October 2023.
Revised route: The service 111 will alternate to operate via Havard Road (Llanelli) on every other trip from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Service X11 will operate every 60 minutes instead of every 30 minutes from 29th October 2023.
Revised route: Service X11 will operate via Loughor and Garden Village from 29th October 2023. The 2 trips a day that operate via Gorseinon Bus Station will no longer operate via Gorseinon Bus Station.

Revised timetable: Service X13 will operate every 60 minutes instead of every 30 minutes and operate revised journey times to Llandeilo from 29th October 2023.

Service withdrawn: Service X28 will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.
X29
Service withdrawn: Service X29 will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.
The following Carmarthenshire services will remain unchanged and operate to their current timetables: 103, 124, 126, 127, 128, 129, 145, 146, 165, 166, 195, 197, L4, L5, L6, L7, T1, T1A, T1X.
Revised timetable: Service 2 will operate to a revised timetable to accommodate a revised route (please see below) from 29th October 2023.
Revised route: Service 2 will operate via Thistleboon and Limeslade on journeys inbound heading from Newton to Swansea Bus Station from 29th October 2023. This new routing on inbound journeys means that the following bus stops will not be served from 29th October 2023: Langland Corner (N), Oystermouth School and Newton Road. Customers that board at one of these three stops can still do so on outbound journeys heading from Swansea Bus Station to Newton.
If you currently catch the service 2 to Swansea Bus Station from one of the three impacted bus stops (Langland Corner (N), Oystermouth School and Newton Road) it is advised that you join the journeys heading toward Newton by catching the bus on the opposite side of the road and remain on the bus as it completes its route. Although please remember that this change will not take place until 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Service 2A will have Monday-Saturday journeys withdrawn and replaced by an amended timetable on service 2 (see service 2 above) from 29th October 2023. The Sunday service 2A timetable will remain unchanged.

Service withdrawn: Service 2B will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.
From 29th October 2023, customers in the Limeslade area are advised to catch the service 2 as the route has been revised.
Service withdrawn: Service 2C will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.
From 29th October 2023, customers in the Caswell Bay area are advised to catch the service 2 from Caswell Drive as the route has been revised.
Revised timetable: Service 3 will operate every 60 minutes (Mon-Sat) from 29th October 2023.
Revised route: Service 3 will operate via Singleton Hospital, Lower West Cross, Norton, Oystermouth and Bracelet Bay from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Service 3A will operate every 60 minutes (Mon-Sun) instead of every 30 minutes (Mon-Sat) and every 60 minutes (Sun) from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Service 4 will operate every 20 minutes instead of every 15 minutes from 29th October 2023.
Revised route: The service 4 will terminate at Swansea Bus Station on Saturday's and will not continue to Singleton Hospital from 29th October 2023. The Mon-Fri routing remains unchanged from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Service 4A will operate to a revised timetable (Mon-Sat) from 29th October 2023. Sunday service 4A timetables will remain unchanged.

Revised timetable: Service 6 will operate every 90 minutes (Mon-Sat) instead of every 60 minutes (Mon-Sat) from 29th October 2023. The Sunday service 6 timetable will remain unchanged.
Revised route: The service 6 will operate via Grenfell Park from 29th October 2023. This new routing will mean the following bus stops from Swansea to Port Tennant will not be served: Kinley Street, Margaret Street, Union Inn and Barretts.

Revised timetable: Service 7 will operate a revised timetable from 29th October 2023.
Revised route: The service 7 will alternate to operate via Maritime Quarter on every other trip from 29th October 2023.

Service withdrawn: Service 11 will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.
From 29th October 2023, customers in the Mayhill area will be served by revised routing on services 12 and 13 (see services 12/13 below).
Revised timetable: Service 12/13 will operate every 30 minutes combined (Mon-Sat) instead of every 20 minutes (combined) from Sunday 29th October 2023. The Sunday service 12 timetable will remain unchanged.
Revised route: Service 12 will operate via Cadrawd and Mayhill (anticlockwise) resuming the current route through Townhill at Lady of Lourdes from 29th October 2023. Service 13 will operate the current clockwise circular route through Townhill before starting its revised route at Lady of Lourdes via Mayhill and Cadrawd from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Service 16 will operate every 60 minutes instead of every 30 minutes (Mon-Sat) from 29th October 2023. The Sunday service 16 remains unchanged.
Revised route: All Mon-Sat service 16 journeys will operate to Pontarddulais from 29th October 2023. They will still operate via Gorseinon.

Revised timetable: Services 20, 20A and 21 will operate every 20 minutes combined, with some additional running time to aid reliability, from 29th October 2023. The Sunday service 20 and 21 timetables will remain unchanged.

Service withdrawn: Service 23 will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.
From 29th October 2023, customers in the Killay and Sketty Park areas will be able to catch the services 20, 20A and 21 (see services 20, 20A and 21 above).
Revised timetable: Service 25 will operate every 20 minutes (Mon-Sat) instead of every 15 minutes (Mon-Sat) and every 60 minutes (Sun) instead of every 30 minutes (Sun) from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Evening service 28 (after 18:00) will operate every 90 minutes (Mon-Sat) instead of every 60 minutes (Mon-Sat) from 29th October 2023. Sunday timetable will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023. There will also be some minor adjustments to the timetable as a result of the below route change from 29th October 2023.
Revised route: Evening services (after 18:00) will not serve Gendros and St Clears Place due to vandalism and inconsiderate parking. There will also be a slight amend to the route at all times of the day in the Penlan/Heol Cadifor area. Services towards Penplas will not operate via Heol Cadifor, services towards Swansea will turn left onto Heol Cadifor from Heol Gwyrosydd from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: Service 29 will operate on Monday to Friday only. The Saturday service 29 timetable will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.

From 29th October 2023, customers in the Birchgrove area will be able to catch the service 31 (see above). Unfortunately, the Ffordd-y-Mynydd area will not be served and customers are advised to catch the service 31 from Birchgrove Road from 29th October 2023.
Revised timetable: The service 33 will operate every 90 minutes instead of every 60 minutes from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: The service 34 will operate every 60 minutes instead of every 30 minutes from 29th October 2023.
Revised route: All trips on the service 34 will operate to Neath and will not serve Landore Park & Ride from 29th October 2023. For Landore Park & Ride, please see the new service PR2 below.

Revised timetable: The service 36 will operate every 20 minutes (Mon-Sat) instead of every 15 minutes (Mon-Sat) from 29th October 2023. The Sunday timetable remains unchanged.

Revised timetable: Little-used journeys (Mon-Sat) will be withdrawn from the service 38 from 29th October 2023. The Sunday service 38 timetable will be removed entirely from 29th October 2023.

From 29th October 2023, customers in the Grenfell Park and Jersey Park areas are advised to catch the revised service 6.
Service withdrawn: Service 110 will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.
From 29th October 2023, customers in the Borough Road area are advised to catch the service 111 from either Loughor Monument or Loughor Crossroads or alternatively catch the revised service X11 from Loughor Monument.
Revised timetable: The service 111 will operate every 30 minutes instead of every 40 minutes from 29th October 2023.
Revised route: The service 111 will alternate to operate via Havard Road (Llanelli) on every other trip from 29th October 2023.

New service: The service PR2 is a brand-new service that will operate between Swansea Bus Station and Landore Park & Ride every 20 minutes (Mon-Sat) from 29th October 2023.

Revised timetable: The service X1 will operate every 60 minutes (Mon-Sat) instead of every 30 minutes (Mon-Sat) from 29th October 2023. Sunday timetable will be withdrawn from 29th October 2023.

The service X6 will alternate to operate from Pontardawe to Ystradgynlais via Allt-y-Cham and from Pontardawe to Alltwen on every other trip from 29th October 2023.
