From Wednesday, 5 April 2026, we'll be making some updates to bus services across Somerset to help improve reliability and punctuality.
What's changing?
Service 14 - Cannington - Bridgwater
There will be a new route and timetable following a successful tender award.
The service will now be extended to serve Woodbury Road, Dunkery Road and Danesboro Road. Buses will travel clockwise around this loop, regardless of whether they are heading towards Bridgwater or Cannington.
A new bus stop will also be added at the top of Dunkery Road, just before the bus turns into Danesboro Road.
Service 1/1E - Priorswood - Taunton
Timetables have been updated on all days of operation to improve reliability.
Departure times from Taunton Town Centre will remain broadly the same, and all journeys will operate the full route.
Service 4 - Wheatley Crescent - Taunton
The timetable has been updated on all days of operation to improve reliability.
Some departure times have changed, so please check the latest timetable before travelling.
Service 6 - Normandy Drive - Taunton
The timetable has been updated on all days of operation to improve reliability.
Some departure times have changed, so please check before travelling.
Service 7 - Galmington - Taunton
The timetable has been updated on all days of operation to improve reliability.
Departure times from Taunton Town Centre remain broadly the same.
Service 25/25a - Dulverton - Taunton
Some timetable changes have been made to help services run more reliably and maintain connections.
- The first journey from Dulverton will depart 10 minutes earlier.
- The arrival time in Taunton will remain the same.
- The last journey from Dulverton will depart later at 17:50, helping customers make onward connections.
Services 51/61
There will be a minor change to the morning timetable to improve connections between services.
We're also pleased to confirm that evening journeys have been secured, meaning both services will now operate until around 11 pm.
