Update, 15/04/25, 13:00: This diversion is now finished.
For the next three evenings, the road contractors will let buses through the road closure so will normal route.
The daytime closure still stands at current. 

April 14th to 17th evenings 18:30 to 23:30

April 17th daytime 09:30 to 13:00

The A358 at Bishop Lydeard will be closed for Somerset Council to carry out works. Due to this, service 28/28A and X28 will be on diversion from Taunton Railway Station until North Street, Williton.

The diversion is long going via the A38, A39 via Bridgwater, in both directions.

This will add about an hour to the Journey each way.

The service will miss out Norton Fitzwarren, Cotford St Luke, Bishops Lydeard, Combe Florey, West Bagborough, Crowcombe, Bicknoller and Fore St Williton.
