From Monday 12 January 2026, routes 207 and X3 travelling towards Sheffield will be diverted due to a long-term road closure. This diversion is expected to remain in place for approximately nine months.
Buses will operate via:
• Newhall Road
• Alfred Road
• Brightside Lane
• Princess Street
• Corby Street
• Fred Mulley Road
Services will then return to the normal route on Attercliffe Road (Norfolk Bridge stop).
Services towards Rotherham and Doncaster will continue to operate as normal.

Due to the temporary lights failing on Whitehill Road and Brinsworth Lane, services will divert in both directions via Whitehall Lane and Bawtry Road.

18, 18a, 97 & 98 services TOWARDS Hillsborough Interchange will divert along Penistone Road then turn right along Bradfield Road to Hillsborough Corner.
Services FROM Hillsborough Interchange will operate via Langsett Road, Bamforth Street & Penistone Road.
98 services will divert via Southey Green Road & Wordsworth Avenue.
Sheffield United Women FC vs Southhampton FC Women – Saturday 21st December (1200-1730)

Bramall Lane will close for a substantial period. Shoreham Street will also close sporadically between Alderson Road & Charlotte Road roundabout.
18, 18a, 73 & MAN4 services will divert via Queens Road, Charlotte Road, Shoreham Street & St Marys in both directions.
Sheffield United FC vs Stoke City – Saturday 6th December (1300-1845)
(from 2hrs before kick-off until 2hrs after the final whistle)
Bramall Lane will close for a substantial period. Shoreham Street will also close sporadically between Alderson Road & Charlotte Road roundabout.
18, 18a, 73 & MAN4 services will divert via Queens Road, Charlotte Road, Shoreham Street & St Marys in both directions.
The re-development of Sheffield city centre will lead to road and network changes in the area.
All INBOUND services will now be re-routed via West Street, turning right directly onto Rockingham Street to Charter Row.
Services will no longer serve Carver Street or Division Street.
As a result, the standard weekend diversion will no longer be required on Friday & Saturday nights.
Due to 4-way lights on roadworks on Wales Road, Kiveton.
