Due to an RTC on Thorne Road, services are diverting:
OUTBOUND:-
Diverting via East Laith Gate, Market Road, Wheatley Hall Road, Beckett Road, Wentworth Road, resuming normal route at Hospital.
INBOUND :-
Diverting via Wentworth Road, Beckett Road, Wheatley Hall Road, Market Road, East Laith Gate & Christ Church, resuming normal route on Thorne Road.
Manor Oaks - Service 56
Manor Oaks Road has been closed by unannounced SCC works

Longley Avenue - Service 18,18a
Longley Avenue West and Penrith Road have been closed due to unannounced SCC works

Gregg House - 47 & 48 Services
47 & 48 Services - Monday 17th until Friday 21st August (0700-1900)
Gregg House Road and Sicey Avenue closed by unannounced SCC works.
Services Outbound diverted via Hatfield House Lane, Bellhouse Road & Nethershire Lane.
Services Inbound diverted Sicey Avenue Beck Road Bellhouse Road Hatfield House Lane
Information has been gained from yellow roadside signage with SYMCA unaware of the works.
Charnock Hall Road - Service 51
51 Service - Until further notice (0700–1900), weekdays only
Charnock Hall Road, Charnock Dale Road, Arnold Avenue & Carter Hall Road have been closed due to unannounced SCC works.
Services to terminate/commence at Gleadless Townend.
Unfortunately, we are unable to serve Charnock during these times.
Information about times of closure have been gained from yellow roadside signage.
Information on CausewayOne suggests works may be complete by 14th September.
Brightside Lane - 18, 18a, X1 & X2 Services
Brightside Lane has been closed outside Forgemasters in one direction due to unannounced Yorkshire Water works.
18 & 18a INBOUND Services diverted via Holywell Road & Jenkin Road.
X1 & X2 OUTBOUND Services diverted via Hawke Street / Jansen Street, Attercliffe Common, Carbrook Street, Dunlop Street, Weedon Street,
Meadowhall Drive & Meadowhall Way.
Information from SYMCA now suggests works may be complete by 23rd August
Service 83 | Norwood Avenue
83 Service - 0800 Monday 17th until 1700 Tuesday 18th August (at all times)
Norwood Avenue will be closed for utility works.
Services will divert directly along Shirecliffe Road in both directions.
Drivers are to observe a temporary stop on Shirecliffe Road near to the Herries Road roundabout.
25 Service - Harborough Avenue
25 Service - Until further notice (at all times)
Harborough Avenue has been closed in one direction by unannounced Yorkshire Water works.
INBOUND services diverted via Harborough Avenue, right onto Prince of Wales Road, left onto Beaumont Road North & Harborough Road.
Information on Causeway One suggests works may be complete by 17th August
362 Service - Sutton Road
07:00 Monday 13th July – 19:00 Friday 18th September
At All Times (Or until works are complete)
Sutton Road will be closed at the junction of Doncaster Road (Dario’s Restaurant).
All services will divert straight along Doncaster Road in both directions.
We will be unable to serve Sutton while this closure is in place.

South Yorkshire Service Changes
From Sunday 30 August 2026, we'll be making changes to a number of services across Sheffield and Doncaster.
These changes include frequency updates, timetable changes and route updates. Please check your service below before you travel.

Services 47 and 48 will continue to operate between Shiregreen and Herdings. The combined daytime frequency will change to every 15 minutes, with each service operating every 30 minutes. |

75, 75A, 76, 76A & 76E Jordanthorpe to Chapeltown |
Service 75 will increase to operate every 20 minutes during the day between Jordanthorpe and Chapeltown. Service 75A will be withdrawn. Together with services 76, 76A and 76E, buses will continue to provide a combined daytime frequency of up to every 10 minutes. |

X6 Sheffield |
Daily journeys will reduce from five to three following a request from Welcome Break. |
Doncaster:

Weekend evening journeys will now operate the full route. Service 372 journeys will continue beyond Lakeside Village to Doncaster Interchange, while Service 373 journeys will start from Doncaster Interchange and continue via Lakeside Village. |
Sheffield Service Changes
Services 47 & 48 – Shiregreen to Herdings
From Sunday 30 August 2026
We're introducing a revised timetable on services 47 and 48.
Buses will continue to operate between Shiregreen and Herdings, with a combined daytime frequency of every 15 minutes, with each service operating every 30 minutes.
Services 75, 75A, 76, 76A & 76E – Jordanthorpe to Chapeltown
From Sunday 30 August 2026
Service 75 will increase to operate every 20 minutes during the day between Jordanthorpe and Chapeltown.
Service 75A (Jordanthorpe – Shiregreen) will be withdrawn.
Together with services 76, 76A and 76E, buses will continue to provide a combined daytime frequency of up to every 10 minutes.
Service X6 – Sheffield
From Sunday 30 August 2026
Service X6 will have a revised timetable following a request from Welcome Break.
The number of daily journeys will reduce from five to three.
Doncaster Service Changes
Services 372 & 373 – Doncaster
From Sunday 30 August 2026
Saturday and Sunday evening journeys on services 372 and 373 will now operate the full route.
Service 372
All weekend evening journeys will continue beyond Lakeside Village to terminate at Doncaster Interchange.
Service 373
All weekend evening journeys will commence at Doncaster Interchange, continue to Lakeside Village, and then continue along the previous route.
