Disruption to services in and around City Centre due to an event

An event is due to take place on Saturday 10 February which means there will be various road closures between 11-1pm. During this time, some of our services will need to divert.  

Service 15: City Centre - Goodwood

Buses will depart as normal from stand CB on Charles Street and operate via Humberstone Gate East; right St Georges Way; left Swain Street; Sparkenhoe Street; St Peters Road; left East Park Road. 

Service 16: City Centre - General Hospital

Buses will depart from stand CA on Charles Street and operate via Humberstone Gate East; right St Georges Way; left Swain Street then back to normal route.

Service 17: City Centre - Highfields

Buses will stop off as normal from stand DJ in Humberstone Gate East and operate via Charles Street, circle the teardrop, then back along Charles Street; left Humberstone Gate East; right St Georges Way, left Swain Street then back to normal route.

Services 88 and 88A: City Centre - Eyres Monsell/Saffron Cross Roads

Buses will depart as normal from Haymarket Bus Station; then operate via Belgrave Gate; right Savoy Street; left Mansfield Street; St Peter’s Lane; left Causeway Lane; left Vaughan Way; Southgates Underpass; Newarke Street; right Welford Road then back to  normal route.

Journeys towards the City Centre will operate as normal route until Oxford Street, then divert via Southgates Underpass; Vaughan Way; Burleys Way; right Belgrave Gate; left Charles Street; right Haymarket Bus Station.
