Rotherham United FC vs Mansfield FC –  Sunday 4th January (1400-1745)

When Main Street closes, services will divert as the following:

73, 95 & X3 Services FROM Rotherham Interchange will re-divert via Bridge Street, Centenary Way & Ickles roundabout

(73 & 95 services then Sheffield Road, Old Sheffield Road & Canklow Road).

Sheffield United FC vs Oxford FC  –  Sunday 4th January (1000-1545)

(from 2hrs before kick-off until 2hrs after the final whistle)

Bramall Lane will close for a substantial period. Shoreham Street will also close sporadically between Alderson Road & Charlotte Road roundabout.

18, 18a, 73 & MAN4 services will divert via Queens Road, Charlotte Road, Shoreham Street & St Marys in both directions.

Monday 2nd Feb 0930 - 1530

355 – Stripe Road, Clay Flat Lane, Stripe Road, Bond Street and to resume service on Radburn Road.

356 -  Radburn Road, Bond Street, Stripe Road, resuming normal service at the end of Clay Flat Lane.

Saturday 24th January 2026

The 22:50 journey from Doncaster will be unable to serve Station Road in Askern due to railway crossing maintenance. 

The service will operate directly along High Street towards Norton.

Due to the closure of Church Street in Armthorpe services will divert as follows :-

381 :- Mere Lane, Elm Road, Beech Road, Hawthorne Avenue in both directions and Hatfield Lane.

382 :- Hawthorne Avenue to the roundabout in the village then normal route around the village and back onto Hawthorne Avenue towards Doncaster.

12th Jan 2026 For At Least 9 Months

Attercliffe Road will be closing between Staniforth Road and Worksop Road for a period of at least 9 months.

The X3 will be re-registered TOWARD SHEFFIELD to operate via Attercliffe Common, Sheffield Hallam University, Newhall Road, Alfred Road, Brightside Lane, and re-join the route on Saville Street.

Thursday 8th January 2026

08:00 – 14:30

Due to the closure of Hawthorne Avenue in Armthorpe, services will be diverted from Beech Road, Briar Road, Mere Lane,  Church Street & Mill Street resuming normal route from Co – Op on Hatfield Lane.

24, 25 & 73 Services - 1900 Wednesday 14th until 0500 Friday 16th January (1900-0500) for two nights

Richmond Road will be closed between Hastilar Road South & Richmond Road for works (and between Laverack Street & Richmond Grove on Thursday 15th – Saturday 17th).

24 & 25 Services will divert via Castlebeck Avenue (24 service), Hastilar Road South, Richmond Road, Normanton Hill, Normanton Spring Road, Coisley Hill, Sheffield Road & Stradbroke Road in both directions.

73 Service will divert via Manor Top, Prince of Wales Road, Sheffield Parkway & Handsworth Road (not Richmond Park Road) in both directions.

 Sheffield United Women FC vs Crystal Palace Women – Sunday 11th January (1200-1730)

(from 1hr before kick-off until 1hr after the final whistle)

Service 216, X5 | Wales Road 

Unannounced Yorkshire Water works on Wales Road are delaying our services up to 30 mins during peak periods.

Services remain on normal route but are being adjusted as required (until Kiveton Bridge is closed).
