Penzance Town Centre

The diversion on services U4, M6, 1, 1a, 17, 17a, and T1 through Penzance Town Centre due to the closure of Albert Street and Chyandour Cliff ended on 20 October 2025. 

There are still some road closures and associated service amendments within the Penzance Town Centre area.

Diversions to services as follows: 

Service M6

Towards Mousehole:
From Penzance Bus Station via Albert Street, Market Jew Street, Leskinnick Street. Penwith Street, Taroveor Road, Clare Street, and follow the road to the roundabout near Penzance Hospital. They will then turn left onto Penalverne Drive and follow the road past the police station to resume normal line of route on Alverton Road.  

Towards Penzance:
Normal line of route to Alverton Road, then via Penalverne Drive, follow the road to the roundabout outside the hospital and turn right onto St Clare Street. Follow the road past Causeway Head into Clarence Street, Morrab Road, Western Promenade, Battery Road, Wharf Road , Albert Street. They will then follow the one way system and bear right into Station Road and to the Bus Station terminus.
