Network and Fare Changes from 2 March

From 2 March, we’re making some changes to bus services and fares across Berkshire as part of our regular network review. These updates are designed to give you faster journeys, better connections and simpler fares.

What's Changing?

New Service M40 - High Wycombe - Uxbridge

We're introducing a brand-new express service via the M40 motorway.

  • Runs every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday
  • A faster and more reliable option for commuters
  • Easy connections with the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines at Uxbridge station 

Service X74 - High Wycombe to Uxbridge 

From Monday to Saturday, the X74 will be extended from Slough to Uxbridge via Uxbridge Road and Slough Road in Iver. 

  • Revised timetable to improve reliability 
  • Journeys up to nine minutes faster
  • No change to Sunday services, which will continue to run between High Wycombe and Slough

Fare Changes

Alongside faster services, we're making some updates to our fares from 2 March. A summary of the changes is shown below.

Slough Adult Week reduces to £21 

Slough Adult Month reduces to £69 

Berkshire Network Week reduces to £29 

Single fares maintained at £2.50 / £3.00 depending on distance travelled 

Berkshire Network Month increases to £79 

Tap On Tap Off

If your journey requires two of our buses, you'll only pay one fare if the second tap is within 60 minutes of the first. 

Ride & Save Loyalty Scheme

The Ride & Save loyalty scheme will end from 2 March. 

  • No new loyalty cards will be issued on services 3, 7 and 7x from 2 March
  • Customers who still have a card on 1 March will still be able to collect stamps and can redeem any completed cards until the end of April 2026
