Fares
We're making some changes to our fares from 2nd March 2026. Single journeys will continue to cost £2.50 or £3, depending on the distance travelled. Adult short hop fares - for journeys up to three miles - will be £2.50, and longer journeys will continue to align with the UK Government’s £3 flat fare cap in England, with a maximum single fare of £3 for journeys above three miles.
Using Tap On Tap Off, customers can benefit automatically from our new “Hopper” ticket, allowing multiple journeys within 60 minutes, at the maximum price of a £3 Single Fare.
Child fares are 50% less than adult single fares.

Use your contactless device - bank card, smartphone or smartwatch - to pay for travel when you board and you’ll never pay more than the daily or weekly cap, however many trips you make as long as you always remember to tap off as you leave the bus. And if you only make one short hop, you’ll only be charged for that.This means you can be confident that if your plans change and you have to make more journeys, you’ll never be paying more than you should.
