Severn Card Student Bus Pass Scheme

Due to a water leak, Severn Trent Water have closed the top of Church Street for 3 days. 

SERVICE 44 - Service will divert via Moorlands Road via A449 and Graham Road. Link Top, Bank Street and Foley Arms will not be served during this closure.

SERVICE 365 - The AM journey to Hanley Castle High School will also need to divert. This will be via Graham Road. The bus stop listed above will also not be served on the 365 service. The PM journey is unaffected

We have several diversions due to Worcester City Run 10K/Half Marathon on Sunday 15 September 2024 between start of service and 1300. This means several key areas of Worcester are closed during this time.

Crowngate Bus Station, Sansome Street, Cathedral and Foregate Street bus stop will all be closed and not able to be served while the closures are in place.

SERVICE 30

This service will terminate at St John’s Library bus stop inbound to Worcester. It will then restart at Bull Ring bus stop, opposite Papa John’s Pizza towards Dines Gren. This will be until the Worcester Bridge reopens. Bull ring (towards Worcester City Centre) and Crowngate Bus Station will not be served during this closure.

SERVICE 35/38

These services will start/terminate at Lowesmoor. Crowngate Bus Station, St. Nicholas’ Street and Sansome Street will not be served during this closure.

SERVICE 144

This service will terminate at The Tything inbound towards Worcester. Leaving Worcester, the first bus stop served will be St. George’s Square. Crowngate Bus Station, Foregate Street, The Tything and Little London bus stops will not be served.

SERVICE X50

This service will start from Sidbury on London Road towards Pershore. Inbound to Worcester, this service will divert via Camp Hill Road, Timberdine Avenue and Bath Road to terminate in Sidbury. This is to allow the vehicle to be correctly facing to be able to operate the next journey.

SERVICE X38 – PM SERVICES ONLY

Due to damage being repeatedly sustained on the exit of Oncology Car Park, we have taken the decision that service X38 will need to serve Charles Hastings Way and loop the hospital grounds instead of using the Oncology Car Park. Inevitably, until a solution is found to this service X38 is going to suffer from delays of around 30 minutes each evening peak time.

SERVICES S23/310 – WORCESTER SIXTH FORM COLLEGE

Due to damage sustained to one of our vehicles on the speed bumps on a recent risk assessment of the College Grounds, these services are unable to serve the College grounds until further notice during the AM and PM journeys to Worcester Sixth Form College. These services will pick up and drop off on Spetchley Road facing towards County Hall (bus stop What3Words reference - ///sage.tame.dreams)

SERVICE 36 – Bilford Road, Worcester

Bilford Road is closed between Perdiswell Island and Wordsworth Avenue on Friday 06 September. Service 36 will be unable to serve bus stops at Penbury Street, Perdiswell island, Perdiswell School and Wordsworth Avenue in both directions whilst this closure is in place. Service S2 for Blessed Edward School will be permitted access through this closure and will not be affected.

SERVICE 153 – Wassage Way, Hampton Lovett Industrial Estate

The above road is closed on Monday 16 September through to Friday 27 September 2024 inclusive. Service will not serve Hampton Lovett Industrial Estate while this closure is in place and will instead terminate on Stonebridge Common Park, next to Muller Dairies.

SERVICE 44 – Moorlands Road, Great Malvern

Moorlands Road is closed from Monday 16 September through to Friday 04 October inclusive. While no bus stops are missed, the service will divert by staying on Graham Road then turning left onto the A449 to resume at Link Top.

SERVICE 35/38 – Sansome Street, Worcester

Sansome Street is closed on Sunday 01 September for services 35/38. This means Sansome Street bus stop will not be served on this date. All other bus stops are served normally.

SERVICE 311 – Claphill Lane, Rushwick

Claphill Lane in Rushwick is closed between Monday 02 September through to Friday 04 October 2024. Service 311 will divert around this by using Bransford Road, A4103 and A44. Claphill Lane will not be served during this closure.

The below changes to the bus network in Worcester will come into effect from Sunday 1 September.
