31/31A - Oldbury Road Diversion

Effective Monday 12th May through to mid-July (date TBC)

Due to water main replacement works, Oldbury Road will be closed between Woodstock Road (University Gates) and Comer Gardens during the dates above, meaning services 31/31A will need to divert.

Service 31 – After going over the level crossing, service will continue on Henwick Road to the end instead of turning left onto Oldbury Road. It will then use Himbleton Road to resume normal route on Fern Road towards Henwick Park.

Service 31A – This service will operate normal route until the end of Laugherne Road, where it will turn right onto Oldbury Road instead of left. It will then use Henwick Road and Himbleton Road to resume normal route on Fern Road.

For both services, bus stops at University Gates (towards Henwick Park only), St David’s Church, Comer Gardens and Fern Road will not be served.

Normal route can be followed on both services towards City Centre from Henwick Park, including the bus stop at University Gates towards City Centre and all bus stops through the University Campus.
