light night

The UK's largest annual arts and lights festival is back on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd October!

Watch as some of Leeds' most recognisable places and spaces are transformed by large-scale light projections, interactive installations, music, dance and street performances.

For more information about Light Night and installations, visit their website here.

Getting to Light Night with Leeds Park & Ride

Begin your journey at either Elland Road or Stourton Park & Ride, where you'll get your first taste of Light Night action with installations on display at these sites.

Return tickets are just £3 (when purchased after 1pm) with up to three Under 19s travelling free with every fare-paying adult.

We are running MORE buses and they'll be running later than usual until midnight, to give you extra time to take in the spectacular sights across the city. Visit Metro to view timetables.

The Stars Come Out at Night

This striking installation captures the magic and wonder of the night sky, bringing a glimmer of starlight right down to earth.

City Services

You can also catch a First Bus service to Leeds Bus Station if you live close by. At Leeds Bus Station, you'll find the spectacular blood moon, which was in Leeds in September. Plan your journey here.

We are expecting delays and diversions to our city services throughout Light Night due to road closures and traffic. For an up-to-date summary of diversions, visit the WY Metro website.
