Service 72 - Diversion

Service 72 is now using the X11 route.

Towards Pudsey

The service is diverting via Hillfoot Surgery, Owlcotes Road, Richardshaw Lane, straight along to Bradford Road and back on route.

Outbound only

Services 511 / 512 are not serving the Hambleton Estate from 1100 due to a large vigil.

Services are back to the normal route.

Bierley Roundabout is shut to traffic.

We will be diverting till 17:00 as below.

The services will be running the normal route to Bierley Church, then divert via Rooley Lane, Toby Cavery, Newhall Way, Haworth Road, Newhall Way, Rooley Lane, and Asda petrol station.

After 17:00, the service will access Bierley Via Dawsons Lane in both directions.

Due to resurfacing work on Victoria Road, service 671 will be going through Eccelshill village following 640/641 route in both directions.

Until we have information that it has been completed.

Due to an overturned car, the Wakefield Road roundabout is closed.

Towards Usher Street, all above services are diverting via Bowling back lane towards Birelry and Holmewood.

Coming back to Bradford is the normal route.

Huddersfield Filed Road is closed due to resurfacing works.

Service 686/87 will divert via Woodside Road, Appleton Academy, and back on Huddersfield Road and its own route in both directions.

No prior notification for road closure. 

Huddersfield Road is closed. Services 686/687 are diverting:

Yorkshire Water, the main utility, works in conjunction with the Dawsons Corner improvement works.

Two of the three lanes are closed eastbound on A647 Bradford Road towards the Dawsons Corner intersection.

Scheduled: From 08:00 Saturday, 30th May until 06:00 Monday, 1st June 2026.

Service 72, X11 may encounter delays in the area due to works lane-restrictions causing tailbacks.

Service X6 will be diverting towards Leeds in order to reduce the impact.

Service 671 will be going through Eccelshill village following 640/641 route in both directions.

Resurfacing Works at Bierley Church Roundabout 

The Road is closed, and no suitable diversion for large vehicles (Dawsons Lane Closed).

Service 620 is unable to serve Bierley.
