Dawsons Corner / X6 / DIVERSION / 9th of April 2026

Dawsons Corner slip-road heading towards Bradford is reported to be closed and traffic is tailing back on the bypass.

Service X6 may divert from the bypass via Richardshaw Lane, Bradford Road up to Dawsons Corner.

Service 549 | Cowcliffe Hill Road Closure 

Due to Roadworks, Cowcliffe Hill Road has been closed.

The diversion below is being followed as Cowcliffe Road will not be served:

549 Towards Halifax:

Route to Spaines Road, onto Bradford Road, Mumbai Spice and pickup normal route

Inbound: Reverse of the above diversion.

Towards Holt Park

The service is diverting via Victoria Road, Great Wilson Street, Meadow Lane, Bridge End, Lower Briggate, Boar Lane, City Square and Infirmary Street.

Towards Beeston

The service is diverting via City Sq, Boar Lane, Duncan Street, New Market St, Kirkgate, New York Street, Duke Street, Black Bull Street, Hunslet Road, Meadow Lane.

Multi-Way temporary lights at Sandy Lane/Howarth Road/Stoney Lane. Congestion is increasing.

Services 615, 616, 619 & 680 are experiencing delays in both directions.

Service 383 - Roadworks 

Due to temporary road works in Marsden the 383 service will divert as follows; 

Towards Marsden Dirker: Peel Street, Towngate, Church Street, Station Road, and then on to the normal route. 

On the return journey, the same in reverse.
