72,X6, X11 - Dawsons Corner Highways

The services are currently diverting. Please see the diversion information below:

Duckworth Lane has reopened service 617 and 618 on the normal route.

Leeds Road has reopened service 72 X6, and 608 is returning to its normal route.

Due to a police incident, Leeds Road is closed in both directions. Service 72, 608, and X6 are diverting via Bolling back lane in both directions.

To allow for resurfacing works on Monday 30th March and Tuesday 31st March, Keith Street will be closed.

During the closure, the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 209 towards Bellshill

The service is diverting via North Road at Keith Street, North Road, Hilltop Avenue, Croftpark Street, Keith Street, and the normal route.

Service 209 towards Motherwell

The service is diverting via Keith Street, Croftpark Street, Hilltop Avenue, North Street, the normal Route.

Dawsons Corner Highways Improvement Scheme.

Lane closures for the ongoing major project are causing serious delays to services throughout the day, particularly at busy times.

A647 Leeds Road, Thornbury

Yorkshire Water Works, including two-way signals causing some delays, particularly at busy times.

B6157 Town Street, Stanningley - Yorkshire Water Works, including two-way signals, causing some delays, particularly at busy times.

Multi-Way temporary lights at Sandy Lane/Howarth Road/Stoney Lane. Congestion is increasing.

Services 615, 616, 619 & 680 are experiencing delays in both directions.

Service 383 - Roadworks 

Due to temporary road works in Marsden the 383 service will divert as follows; 

Towards Marsden Dirker: Peel Street, Towngate, Church Street, Station Road, and then on to the normal route. 

On the return journey, the same in reverse.
