    23/07/2026 - 20/09/2026

Thanks to our partnership with Dorset Council, we're increasing the frequency of Service 2 between Mount Pleasant Park & Ride and Weymouth town centre, making it even easier to travel into town.

As part of wider improvements to the Park & Ride site, including upgraded signage, digital displays and customer facilities, buses will run more frequently during the busiest periods of the year.

What's changing?

  • From 23rd July 2026, Service 2 will run up to every 12 minutes during peak times (Monday to Saturday).
  • Sunday and Public Holiday services will increase from every 20 minutes to approximately every 15 minutes.
  • An additional Monday evening journey will operate during the summer holidays for fireworks events.
  • Enhanced frequency will operate during peak season (typically May to September).
  • From 20th September 2026, services will adjust to every 15 minutes (Mon–Sat) and every 20 minutes on Sundays and Public Holidays.

This increase provides more capacity and a more consistent timetable between Mount Pleasant Park & Ride and Weymouth town centre.
