Overall Summary

Thanks to additional funding from Hampshire County Council, Sunday frequencies will increase on services E1/E2 and 5. Service 5 will also gain additional evening journeys Monday to Saturday.

Service 9A will be withdrawn, with its journeys incorporated into service 9 to provide a more consistent timetable throughout the day.

Due to roadworks affecting Lake Road in Portsmouth, services 3 and 7 will be diverted from Wednesday 10th June. Buses Buses will now turn at Kingston Crescent and serve Mile End Road on the way towards the City Centre instead of Kingston Road/Lake Road.

What's Changing?

Service E1/E2 – Fareham Bus Station – Gosport Bus Station

Sunday frequencies will improve, with buses increasing from every 15 minutes to every 10 minutes at peak times across the combined E1/E2 service.

Service 5 – Fareham Bus Station – Gosport Bus Station (via Stubbington & Lee-on-Solent)

Sunday frequencies will improve from every 60 minutes to every 30 minutes.

Additional hourly evening journeys will also operate Monday to Saturday between 19:05 and 23:05.

Service 9/9A – Fareham Bus Station – Gosport Bus Station (via Bridgemary & Rowner)

Journeys previously operated by service 9A will now be incorporated into service 9, providing a more consistent 20 minute frequency between approximately 7am and 7pm.

As a result of these changes, buses will no longer serve Nobes Avenue or Rowner Road towards Grange Road. The evening service on the 9 will remain unchanged.

Service 3 – Fareham Bus Station – South Parade Pier

Service 7 – City Centre – Wecock Farm

From Wednesday 10th June, the roadworks on Lake Road reaches a phase where there is a complete road closure. From this date to 26th July, we will be diverting after North End Junction to serve stops along Kingston Crescent and Mile End Road on the way to the City Centre. This means we won’t be serving stops along Kingston Road or Lake Road.

Service PR3 – Tipner Park & Ride – Clarence Pier

From Saturday 6th June, PR3 will operate every 30 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer months.

To support the Kite Festival weekend on the 12th and 13th September, frequencies will further increase to every 10 minutes.
