Service 8 | Twyford Ave/Stamshaw Road

Services 5, and 9 Temporary Overnight Route diversion. Privett Road Closure.
Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th June 2000 – 0600 each night.

Due to the overnight closure of Privett Road, routes 5 and 9 will be diverting via:

Anns Hil Road, Brockhurst Road, and Military Road in both directions.
Passengers are advised that the nearest alternative stops are located at either:

War Memorial Hospital, Sandford Avenue, Western Way, or House School.
(all stops in Gomer Lane)

Route 5 will not be able to serve any stops in Jellicoe Avenue or Stokes Bay Road in both directions.

Route 9 will not be able to serve any stops in Privett Road in both directions.

Southsea food festival takes place this weekend and Service 3 will divert away from Southsea shops due to the road closure.
Clarendon Road road will be closed from 6pm on the 2 July and re open in the morning of 6 July.
Service 3 will divert via Elm Grove and Victoria Road South.
The stops not being served are:- Southsea Shops, The Circle westbound, St Judes Church and Telephone House,
Alternative stops at Elm Grove and the temporary stop near the Circle at Clarendon Road Green, westbound.

From the 29th June until 17th July, Services 3 and 7 will divert southbound (Towards the City) Via Kingston Crescent and Market Way
Northbound services are unaffected.
Please use alternative stops on the diversion. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Service 1 & 2 will divert away from Highland Road, Southsea due to a road closure near Winter Road.
Service 1 will divert via St Helens Parade and Cromwell Road in both directions and will not serve Highland Road or Festing Road.
Service 2 will divert via Festing Road, St Helens Parade and Cromwell Road in both directions.
Temporary stops are located in Cromwell Road. Highland road will open as soon as the road works are finished.

Between the 29th June and the 3rd July OVERNIGHT closure at Hilsea southbound on the service 8 between 9pm to 6am.
The diversion will be direct down London Road from Hilsea to North End, then Kingston Crescent and back on normal route.
All stops on the diversion will be served.
